The DiSerio Home, Stockton, CA     SEE SLIDE SHOW MAKEOVER  click here

Nothing like painting an old friend's home in Stockton, CA. , making it look beautiful again, and breaking both your wrists in the process.  But that's exactly what happened in 2010. Renee DiSerio waves from her restored mahogany front porch. Definitely needed a facelift    And though it was hard work the result was worth it.  The Juniper color with the bamboo framing really showed of the 55 windows which were accented in a napiery cream from Sherwin Williams.  The 40 foot high peak made for difficult ladder movements. On December 1, 2010 the accident happened where i fell about 15 fett from a scaffold setup that went wrong.  God was good as always and I had great doctors from Dameron Hospital in Stckton.  The 2 month recovery and subsequent 4 month rehabilitation put me 5 months behind our completion date.  With the help of my youngest son, Michael, and the diligent supervision of , the dog friend Major, the job was finally completed on May19, 2011.  Thanks to all our friends and family it was still a wonderful journey.  Thanks to Mike, Renee, Jim, Sue, for their hospitality on another successful restoration on my California odyssey.
